Climbing the Mountains of Liuzhou
Guangxi, China
Liuzhou is the second largest city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonamous Region. With a semi-tropical climate and many karst limestone hills and mountains nearby the Liujiang River, the city is a scenic destination, though often overshadowed by Guilin to the north.

Liuzhou is blessed with dozens of mountainous nature areas containing ancient trails, burial shrines, and an abundance of wildlife, especially large and brightly colored butterflies. However, there are few English maps or guides, so the purpose of this website is to help the international and local Liuzhou resident access the beautiful nature trails across the city.

This guide has been prepared by a foreigner who has been a resident for five years so excuse any mistakes in language or naming.
